 Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?
I am based in Cornwall but as I am mobile I come to you.

My event isn't local to you, will you travel?
Yes! I will go a reasonable distance in the UK - mileage will be charged at £1 per mile - first 25 miles are free. For really far events, the cost of a standard travel hotel will be added for one night, this will be discussed with you upon quoting. For certain areas of the UK I am able to stay with friends / family such as Bristol / East Wales / Bedfordshire and the Home Counties and have been booked as far as Herefordshire.

I have an injury / disability, can I still try archery?
I try to make this activity as accessible as possible - please contact me to discuss any specific requirements

How old do my children have to be to try this?
I have adult, junior and a tiny bow for tots - they can all have a go but results may vary! Youngest to try so far was 2.

Do you run one-to-one regular lessons?
Sorry I don't do this at the moment as I have no secured land, but will be looking at this for the future.

I really want archery for my event but can't afford the packages, can I negotiate?
Yes of course! There will be some wiggle room on prices but I will need to compromise on some things.

Are all your events in costume?
No don't panic, I do plenty of 'normal' clothes events so I don't wear armour all the time!

What if the weather is awful?
For all major events I take a deposit, but your money is protected if bad weather causes cancellation. I have a contract of hire which explains all T&Cs which you will get upon agreeing to a quote

Why are you named Lonewolf?
I chose this name as I have worked hard on my own to build this business and do almost everything by myself, right down to making the wedding bunting for my set up. My ancestry also traces back to a noble named the 'Earl of the wolf' in Nordic history.
